We are currently seeking a fulltime Occupational Therapist (OTR) to join our compassionate and dynamic team at our pediatric clinic in Sheboygan WI. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide impactful playbased therapy that supports children in reaching their highest potential across developmental sensory and functional areas.As part of our multidisciplinary team youll work closely with families and other providers to deliver individualized evidencebased care in a supportive clinical setting designed just for kids.

Occupational Therapist Responsibilities:

  • Conducting initial and ongoing evaluations of childrens physical cognitive and emotional capabilities.
  • Identifying barriers to independence and daily functioning in children including fine motor sensory processing and selfregulation challenges.
  • Developing customized occupational therapy programs that address the specific goals and needs of pediatric patients.
  • Assisting children in improving skills related to daily activities such as dressing eating school tasks and play.
  • Addressing challenges related to sensory processing motor skills and adaptive behavior.
  • Assisting children with physical disabilities or delays in achieving milestones related to motor planning coordination and posture.
  • Recommending adaptive equipment or tools to aid in childrens mobility fine motor tasks or participation in daily activities.
  • Collaborating with families teachers and multidisciplinary teams to create an effective therapy plan.
  • Educating families and caregivers on ways to support childrens functional independence at home and school.
  • Participating in schoolbased or B3 team meetings to coordinate care and review therapy goals.
  • Maintaining accurate records of assessments treatments and progress.
  • Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and educational guidelines for pediatric care.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school with a bachelors masters or doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • License as required by the State of Wisconsin to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
