About the role:
Samsara is looking for a Sales Operations manager to play a critical role in scaling systems processes and policies for the organization. This role will partner with senior leaders across Samsaras gotomarket teams to design build and run critical business capabilities for our worldclass sales organization. This leader will have an outsized impact on the future of our sales organization by helping us Build for The Long Term as we grow past $2BN in revenue. The ideal candidate has experience driving transformative initiatives that bring together people process and technology into elegant solutions to business problems related to all aspects of the presales customer journey.
This role is open to candidates residing in the US except the San Francisco Bay Metro Area NYC Metro Area and Washington D.C. Metro Area.

In this role you will:
- Evaluate and recommend sales tools that align with business objectives and enhance sales team productivity.
- Lead endtoend implementation of new tools including planning testing deployment and user training.
- Monitor and measure tool performance ensuring alignment with KPIs and maximizing ROI
- Partner with Sales Operations IT and vendors to ensure seamless tool integration and scalability.
- Maintain and administer updates to existing tools ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction
- Act as a strategic bridge between sales leadership and other departments ensuring business needs are transformed into impactful initiatives.
- Provide ongoing training and support to ensure widespread adoption and effective utilization

Minimum requirements for the role:
- 5 years of experience in sales tools management or related roles.
- Proven success in managing tools for large sales teams 1200 users).
- Strong project management skills with experience in implementation and ROI measurement.
- Previously demonstrated ability to roll out strategies and implement new workflows to large sales organizations
- Expertise in Salesforce and the broader sales technology ecosystem
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in rearchitecting socializing and rolling out new business processes to large organizations
- Bachelors degree in business finance economics engineering or a related field; MBA is optional
An ideal candidate also has:
- In depth Salesforce CPQ experience
- Superb communication with both technical stakeholders and business leaders i.e. you can translate complex issues to different teams seamlessly
- Experience as a Salesforce Administrator is a plus but not required
- Familiarity with Product Management and Six Sigma is a plus.
