Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated TGT Social Science educator for our Udupi location. This fulltime midlevel position requires 4 to 6 years of experience in teaching social sciences. The ideal candidate will join a team committed to delivering exceptional education in alignment with Podars values and pedagogical standards. A qualified candidate will demonstrate proficiency in effective teaching techniques and curriculum development to create engaging learning experiences.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Social Science TGT (Mandatory skill) essential qualifications indicating expertise in teaching social sciences.
  • Knowledge of social science subjects deep understanding of various social science topics to provide comprehensive education.
  • Effective communication skills ability to convey ideas clearly and interact effectively with students parents and colleagues.
  • Classroom management proficiency in maintaining a conducive and disciplined learning environment.
  • Lesson planning capability to design structured and impactful lesson plans aligning with syllabus objectives.
  • Critical thinking ability to foster an environment that encourages analytical and independent thinking among students.
  • Proven experience in implementing innovative teaching methodologies to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
  • Adaptability and openness to integrate technology in the classroom to support and enhance traditional teaching methods.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill curriculum requirements.
  • Participate in department meetings and contribute to curriculum development projects.
  • Engage students in interactive learning experiences to encourage critical thinking and discussion.
  • Assess students progress and provide personalized feedback and support.
  • Maintain open communication with parents regarding their childrens academic and social progress.
  • Demonstrate commitment to professional growth by attending workshops training and seminars.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect and cooperation among students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources that enhance the schools academic program.
