- All necessary curriculum and instructional tools
- Teach math to students in grades K12 using the Mathnasium Method.
- Provide individualized instruction based on each students learning plan.
- Utilize the Socratic method to guide students through problemsolving.
- Maintain a positive and encouraging learning environment.
- Work with multiple students simultaneously while ensuring their progress.
- Track and record student performance and progress in Mathnasiums system.
- Communicate with the Center Director and team regarding student development..
- Support center operations including preparing materials and maintaining a clean workspace.
- Strong math competency through Algebra II (or higher preferred).
Passion for teaching and working with kids.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to engage and motivate students in a fun supportive environment.
Previous tutoring or teaching experience is a plus but not required.
Must be available to work afternoons evenings and/or weekends as needed.
Mathnasium locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees of Mathnasium Center Licensing LLC (Mathnasium). Franchisees are independent business people and not employed by Mathnasium. Thus each franchisee and each franchisee center is unique and the franchisee is alone responsible for all employment matters in their center. If you are hired to work at a center the franchisee will be your employer not Mathnasium.
