Job Description

Job Summary

Class A tanker driver needed to haul leachate water from the Taylor Rd landfill to a local wastewater treatment plant daily. The driver is responsible for safely loading and transporting leachate and will follow all safety precautions and rules on the landfill and discharge facility.

Job Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience as a Class A Commercial Truck Driver.
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle if needed.
  • Tanker endorsement.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good driving record.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with supervisors regarding routes and responsibilities.

Job responsibilities

  • Ensuring leachate water is loaded correctly into tanker trailer.
  • Transporting leachate water.
  • Inspecting the truck and trailer before every shift.
  • Promptly reporting any accidents injuries or mechanical issues to management.
  • Maintaining accurate driver logs.
  • Complying with all safety rules and regulations.
