Job Description
Summary: Warehouse associate primary duties will be to unload inbound trucks and load up outbound orders on the trucks for delivery the next day.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
Loading and unloading trucks ensuring accuracy and adherence to shipping/receiving documentation.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas including trucks ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines to always ensure a safe work environment.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting process enhancements or efficiencies.
On occasion when needed assist the Delivery Driver making deliveries.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Certified forklift operator
Understanding of safety protocols and ability to adhere to strict safety standards.
Ability to lift heavy objects and operate machinery in a controlled precise manner.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Flexibility to work varying shifts and overtime as needed to support Delivery/Receiving demands.
Ability to work the Day Evening or Night shifts
Must be able to pass Drug test
