Job Description
This position is responsible for coordinating the review and approval of Insurance for the Commercial Term Lending portfolio. Responsible for the daily management of insurance pipeline to ensure that commercial real estate loans are insured according to departmental and bank policy and procedures. Work is performed under limited to no supervision with full responsibility for managing multiple tasks. Candidate must escalate appropriate situations to Supervisor/Manager.
As a Commercial Loan Insurance Specialist within our Commercial Term Lending team you will be responsible for coordinating the review and approval of Insurance for our portfolio. You will manage the daily insurance pipeline to ensure that commercial real estate loans are insured according to our policies and procedures. You will be expected to demonstrate creative problemsolving skills solid judgment and decisionmaking abilities. This role provides an opportunity to become an insurance subject matter expert work with insurance agents and manage a significant pipeline of active items. Your excellent communication skills ability to adapt and be flexible in a highpressure team environment and detailoriented approach will be key to your success in this role.
Job Responsibilities
- Be an insurance subject matter expert for our business partners
- Work with insurance agents review and approve insurance in accordance with the current requirements
- Manage pipeline/workflow with an average pipeline of 45100 active items
- Demonstrate creative problem solving and solid judgment/decision making
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Ability to adapt and be flexible in a team environment under high pressure situations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to report results in a clear concise manner at the appropriate level
- Selfmotivated organized and able to prioritize goals to meet objectives work under pressure and multitask in a dynamic environment
- Highly detail oriented with excellent research problemsolving and analytical skills
- Strong client focus and ability to partner with various internal and external groups
- Possess a solutionsoriented mindset
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills:
- Minimum 35 years of property and casualty experience including Property Coverage Windstorm Seismic Environmental Terrorism and Liability is preferred.
