- Ability to complete and maintain documentation and records.

- Research each forging prior to shipping to verify that all process steps have been completed including test and inspection steps and that the results meet customers requirements.
- Prepare certification packages for product that is approved to ship in accordance with customer requirements.
- Ensure any deviation request approvals (submits SDRs) are included in the certification package.
- Once reviewed and found to be errorfree copy and email certification reports to our customers as required when forgings are ready to ship or upload certification packages to customer portals when required.
- Generate/type memos and enter data when required.
- Handle customer requests for certification revisions or other changes.
- File and maintain quality records.
- Review vendor Material Test Reports to ensure material meets specification.
Working experience:
Experience with AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 quality management systems preferred.
An understanding of Material Test Reports and Aerospace/Metals industry materials and relevant test specifications preferred.
Working knowledge of manufacturing job routings and processes.
Familiar with external processes such as external heat treat machining NDT etc. is preferred.
Working knowledge or familiarization with customer portal such as General Electric (GE) Aerospace SpaceX Pratt &Whitney etc. is preferred but not required.
Must be willing and able to work overtime as required to meet company and customer shipment goals.
