Ziosk is looking for a detailoriented and proactive Data Governance Specialist to join our data team. This role will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the frameworks standards and processes that ensure high data quality integrity and compliance across the organization. The ideal candidate will play a key role in leading data governance initiatives and managing enterprise master data domains enabling datadriven decisionmaking.
The Main Course Responsibilities
- Develop implement and maintain data governance policies standards and frameworks.
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to define and enforce data ownership stewardship and accountability models.
- Help drive the adoption of data policies across organizational units.
- Monitor data quality metrics and lead initiatives to address datarelated issues and root causes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and privacy requirements.
- Maintain data dictionaries glossaries and metadata repositories.
- Oversee the lifecycle of master data records including creation validation enrichment and retirement.
- Conduct regular data audits and drive continuous improvement of MDM processes and tools.
- Liaise with engineering operations and system owners to align data needs and resolve issues.
- Provide training and support for end users on data governance policies and MDM practices.
- Produce clear documentation of governance frameworks business rules and workflows.
What You Bring To The Table Qualifications
:
- Bachelors degree in Information Systems Data Science Business or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in Data Governance MDM or related data management roles.
- Strong understanding of data management principles including data quality metadata and lineage.
- Experience with MDM tools (e.g. Informatica MDM SAP MDG Reltio Semarchy) and data governance platforms (e.g. Collibra Alation Talend).
- Familiarity with data regulations and compliance requirements.
Preferred:
- Experience in hospitality domain.
- Knowledge of SQL data modeling and data integration techniques.
- Certification in data governance or data management (e.g. DAMA CDMP).
