Job Summary
The Sales Representative is responsible for facilitating new customer development servicing existing customers and exploring opportunities across a broader range of products offered by the company. This role involves telecommunication contacts and personal visits to prospective and suspected users of the companys products.
Key Responsibilities
New Customer Development: Create new profitable sales volume through focused expansion of the sales base primarily selling web and digital labels.
Customer Service: Maintain and enhance relationships with existing customers ensuring high levels of customer service and product quality.
Reactive Sales: Respond to incoming calls from customers utilizing sales skills to increase sales and engineer new opportunities.
FollowUp: Establish callback times and frequencies for new prospects and suspects until an opportunity to bid is obtained.
Data Collection: Actively solicit suspect and prospect profile data for future sales and marketing efforts.
Company Image: Present a positive serviceoriented image of the company demonstrating concern for customer needs.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of calls attempted and completed in Customer Relationship Management software.
Product Knowledge: Continuously acquire and maintain knowledge of all products offered by the company.
Customer Issue Resolution: Research and resolve specific customer issues with practical solutions.
Policy Adherence: Perform duties in accordance with established company policies and procedures.
Professional Attitude: Maintain a professional attitude with customers coworkers and other company personnel.
Qualifications
Education: High School Graduate plus Sales Training Courses (work experience may substitute for Sales Training Courses). Preferred: College Degree in a businessrelated discipline.
Skills: Fluency in English basic business math ability to operate office equipment proficiency in Word Excel Outlook and PowerPoint.
Physical Requirements: Ability to walk sit drive stand present sales materials and lift up to 60 pounds.
Personality Traits: Extroverted good speaking voice able to accept rejection enthusiastic about sales high energy level able to perform multiple job functions without distraction.
Environmental Conditions: Normal business manufacturing conditions with moderate to high noise levels.
