Childrens Support Worker

Salary:(Up to 27000 with sleep ins)

37.5 hours per week Sleep Ins

Please note that our client DOES NOT offer Tier 2 Sponsorship

Our client is seeking a compassionate resilient and dedicated Childrens Support Worker to join their therapeutic childcentred service. Based in a small nurturing home for younger children and young people this role is ideal for someone who is deeply committed to traumainformed care and meaningful relationshipbuilding.

The Role

Working 37.5 hours per week plus sleepins the Childrens Support Worker will play an active and essential part in delivering completely therapeuticfocused care and planning. This includes supporting daily routines participating in enriching activities and ensuring each childs voice is heard and valued.

The salary ranges from per annum rising to up to 27700 with sleepins and is accompanied by a generous benefits package.

What Were Looking For

  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) this is essential
  • A genuine passion for supporting children and young people through trauma and adversity
  • Excellent communication and empathy skills
  • A calm grounded presence and the ability to respond sensitively in challenging moments
  • Flexibility to work shifts including evenings weekends and sleepins

  • Uphold safeguarding and health & safety standards at all times
