Job Description
Personnel Source is currently hiring a Welderfor a local manufacturer of steel container products in Portland OR.
The primary focus is the manufacturing of steel container products of many sizes and forms including s and recycling bins refuse dumpsters and more.
Requirements of the Welder:
- Must have 2 years experience with steel/aluminum welding
- Must be able to read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures
- Must be able to pass a weld test following interview
- Must be able to pass a drug screen
Duties:
Read and interpret blueprints schematics and engineering drawings
Fabricate metal components using various tools and equipment
Perform welding tasks using MIG TIG or stick welding techniques
Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers to ensure accurate dimensions
Skills:
Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation
Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques
Familiarity with schematics and engineering drawings
Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers
