Job Summary

Our client is seeking a skilled Journeyman Welder to join their team in Cobourg ON.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform welding and pipe fitting tasks based on project specifications technical blueprints and safety regulations.
Execute work with precision ensuring high-quality standards are consistently met.
Obtain and maintain any required welding certifications specific to the worksite.
Operate trade-specific tools and equipment efficiently to carry out installations and repairs.
Collaborate effectively with team members to support overall site operations.
Assist in inspections testing and troubleshooting of welding and piping systems.
Ensure a safe clean and organized work environment by adhering to all safety procedures and protocols.

Requirements:

Valid Red Seal Welder.
Proven experience in pipe fitting and welding within industrial or manufacturing environments.
Capability to acquire and maintain any necessary site-related welding certifications.
Physically able to perform job-related duties including lifting and working in various environmental conditions.
Must have a complete set of essential hand tools required for the trade.
Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-driven and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
