Eagle Metalcraft East Syracuse NY
Are you a skilled fabricator with a passion for precision and craftsmanship Eagle Metalcraft a trusted name in custom metal fabrication is seeking an experienced Welder / Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our team in East Syracuse NY.
In this role youll work with stainless steel aluminum and steel using TIG MIG and spot welding techniques to bring high-quality projects to life. Youll interpret blueprints lay out and assemble components and operate equipment to build everything from small parts to large assemblies. Responsibilities
- Minimum 3 years of fabrication experience
- Ability to apply basic math skills to measure and calculate various drawing dimensions.
- Ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Physically able to stand and/or sit for extended periods.
- Ability to read write and communicate in English.
- High School degree or equivalent.
- Mechanical aptitude or similar experience is a plus

Qualifications
- Ability to TIG weld spot weld and MIG weld stainless steel steel and alum.
- Interpret blueprints drawings and measurements to plan layouts.
- Layout component locations per instructions.
- Prepare work surface via cutting and finishing.
- Weld small and large components in flat vertical via appropriate welding technique.
- Set up and operate equipment for assigned jobs.
- Complete housekeeping duties in assigned area or as requested by management.
- Complete all required paperwork and properly log time into the ERP system logging on and off.
- Wear proper PPE.
- Support other Sheet Metal Fabrication when necessary.
