Job Description
What youll get to do:
- Lead the design development and launch of new fastening tools and products for decking roofing and structural applications.
- Collaborate across engineering operations and product teams to bring forwardthinking ideas to life.
- Apply your knowledge of metallurgy coatings and material science to improve product performance and durability.
- Support the full product lifecycleprototyping testing analysis and refinement.
- Guide and mentor junior engineers contributing to a strong technical team culture.
- Engage with overseas manufacturing partners to support quality sourcing and costeffectiveness.
- Stay current on industry trends and new technologies to continuously improve product design.
- Help strengthen and grow a portfolio of premium highly recognized fastening brands.
What will make you successful:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Product Design or related field.
- 10 years of experience in mechanical/product design ideally with fasteners construction products or tools.
- Advanced proficiency with 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks AutoCAD or Catia.
- Strong background in materials coatings and mechanical systems.
- Experience working with global supply chains and vendors.
- Creative thinker with a track record of bringing ideas to market.
- Excellent communicator and team collaborator.
- Eager to mentor others and contribute to a highimpact team.
- A mindset that aligns with servant leadership curiosity and doing things bettertogether.
