- Provide oneonone coaching as well as lead group fitness classes
- Design fitness programs while building relationships with our members
- Deliver exceptional health and fitness programs and services as per YMCA Health Coaching standards and best practices
- Have an interest inworking within our Health Promotion Programs(older adults/chronically ill)
- Instruct dropin group fitness classes
- Ensure safety of all members participants staff and property by following YMCA standards/policies/procedures and ensuring they are maintained amongst all members and staff
- Actively participate in and promote philanthropy through the YMCA Association initiatives
Wed love to hear from people with:
- Current Weight training/Personal Training Certificate by a recognized governing body (e.g. BCRPA CFES CSEP)
- Current Standard FirstAid with CPRC certification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Group Fitness Instruction Certification is an asset (e.g. Cycle Aqua Strength Yoga)
- A degree in Human Kinetics or related field is an asset
