Job Description
LOCATION:Amphi Corps 218 E. Prince Road Tucson AZ
STATUS:PT/ 26 Hours Per Week

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Emergency Medical CPR/First Aid Training
- Working knowledge of computers MS Word/Excel
- Outgoing personality
- Work well with youth
- Good Communication & organizational skills
- Valid Arizona Drivers License
- Successful background clearance
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with the supervision of program participants
- Provide guidance in afterschool summer day camp teen and troop programs
- Assist with kitchen duties preparation serving & warming food as needed
- Assist in daily clean up in assigned work area
- Assist with various fundraising events throughout the year
- Assist in securing of facility upon completion of programs or activities
- Maintain a safe and secure environment/property for all program participants
- Effectively enforce all center rules regulations & policies maintaining proper conduct
- Participate in weekly meetings to discuss program planning accomplishments concerns
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor as it relates to the position of Program Aide
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to walk stand climb or balance stoop kneel crouch crawl and reach with hands and arms on a continuous basis. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must have the ability to operate a telephone or a desktop computer as well as the ability to access and produce information from a computer and to understand written information.
