Job Description

Are you an upandcoming Contracts Administrator or Project Coordinator with around 1 year of experience in Fitout or Commercial Construction Are you passionate about workspace design and ready to learn from a supportive highperforming team

If so wed love to hear from you! This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow in the world of workplace fitout. Were open to emerging talent who are eager to develop their skills and gain handson experience in a fastpaced environment. Based in the heart of the Brisbane CBD were looking for someone who shares our values of teamwork accountability and positivity. Youll bring curiosity a strong work ethic and some construction experience. Well provide coaching exposure to a variety of projects flexibility a 9day fortnight and a great team culture.

About the Role

Amicus is a specialist in Designing and Constructing Workspaces with additional services in Strategy Technology Finance and more. Youll be joining a supportive national team of 11 Contracts Administrators within the broader Delivery team. As a Junior Contracts Administrator youll work closely with Project Managers CAs and subcontractors to help deliver highquality workplace fitout projects.

Some things youll get involved in:

Supporting contract administration tasks across multiple projects

Preparing and maintaining documentation including purchase orders quotes and scopes of work

Assisting in tender processes and reconciling quotes from trades

Coordinating with consultants and certifiers for documentation and approvals

Tracking project budgets variations and timelines

Communicating with internal teams and external stakeholders

Learning how to navigate and manage compliance processes like CDC / DC / CC / OC under supervision

You wont be alone our team is here to support your development and help you succeed.

You might be a great fit if you:

Have around 1 year of experience in a Project Coordinator or Contracts Administrator role in commercial construction (ideally fitouts)

Are proactive organised and eager to learn

Have a relevant qualification or are working towards one (e.g. Cert IV Diploma or Bachelor in Construction Management or related field)

Are confident using systems like Microsoft Office and keen to learn construction software
