Job Description
Job Summary:
Gems Setra is seeking a Continuous Improvement Leader (FBSL) to drive the adoption of FBS and execute strategic initiatives for exceptional financial performance and customer experience. The FBSL will provide thought leadership develop a kaizen roadmap and collaborate crossfunctionally to drive operational improvements.
- The successful candidate will combine a broad range of experiences with strong interpersonal and communication skills to gain credibility with executive leaders and all levels of the organization. They will work across peers and indirect subordinates in a matrixed environment.
Location:Remote with >50 travel
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Utilize FBS to align and drive productivity for strategic goals
Partner with leadership on improvement initiatives and change management
Identify opportunities for business improvements
Manage GS FBS standard work and drive key projects
Consult with leaders to enhance operational and financial performance
Develop FBS leaders and embed FBS into company culture
Ensure FBS tools drive business operations and performance goals
Assist leadership in meeting annual objectives
Develop FBS talent through training and recruitment programs
Advocate for customers and address challenges
Prepare executive summaries for senior leadership - Aid in crossfunctional project management to drive key initiatives
Mandatory Competencies:
B.S. or M.S. degree
5 years leading continuous improvement initiatives
Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking skills
Excellent communication skills
Autonomous with a high sense of urgency
Comfortable in direct environments with a focus on results
Ability to drive effective change management
Technical skills to resolve business issues
Experience using Project Management & FBS tools
Desired Competencies:
MBA with 5 years of experience
Prior experience with Danaher/Fortive Business Systems tools
PMP certification
