As a new Purchasing Manager at North Coast Container you will start your day by reviewing inventory levels and forecasting supply needs to ensure optimal production flow. Youll engage in supplier communications to gather quotes and assess supplier performance based on price quality and delivery time. Daily tasks will include negotiating contracts and placing purchase orders while maintaining accurate records of transactions. Youll coordinate with various departments such as production and logistics to align purchasing strategies with operational goals.
To stay ahead monitor market trends and industry developments that may impact procurement strategies. Regularly attend team meetings to share insights and collaborate on inventory solutions.
