Job Description
Job Title: Estimator / Project Coordinator
Location: Battle Creek MI
Employment Type: Full Time
Pay: $75000 $100000/year
About the Role:
Elevate RS is looking for a motivated and detaildriven Estimator / Project Coordinator to support our civil construction projects from preconstruction through project closeout. This dynamic role blends estimating responsibilities with project operations offering the opportunity to contribute across all stages of a project. We re open to candidates at different experience levels from seasoned professionals to recent grads with the right drive and attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate tenders for compliance with project requirements.
- Conduct estimating and quantity takeoffs to project costs.
- Manage subcontractor and supplier relationships; negotiate contracts.
- Prepare and finalize competitive bid proposals with cost estimates.
- Implement value engineering to enhance costeffectiveness.
- Review bids for potential savings and process improvements.
- Oversee postbid activities including contract negotiations and clarifications.
- Provide support during project to ensure timely and budgetcompliant delivery.
- 5 7 years of relevant experience ideal but open to less experienced candidates with strong potential.
- Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree is a strong asset
- Recent graduates with internship/coop experience will be considered
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Familiarity with CAD 3D modeling and construction engineeringrelated software.
- Experience with the following tools is an asset: B2W Vista by Viewpoint TBC Trimble Business Center
