Job Description
Position: Gas Turbine Engineer
Location: Saudi Arabia (Expat Benefits Included)
Experience Required: 20 Years
We are seeking an experienced Gas Turbine Engineer to join our Rotating Equipment Division part of the Equipment Consulting Services Department. This division plays a vital role in supporting the companys operating assets and capital projects as well as driving technological innovation to solve complex challenges and enhance operational efficiency.
As a Gas Turbine Engineer you will lead the diagnosis and resolution of technical issues related to plant machinery with a focus on gas turbines and associated equipment. Your work will directly contribute to our strategic goals of operational excellence sustainability and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Provide expert technical consultation for rotating equipment including gas turbines and diesel engines.
Review and approve design specifications ratings and equipment selections for new projects and modifications.
Develop and maintain company standards and best practices related to gas turbines and diesel systems.
Identify and implement valueadded technologies to improve equipment reliability and performance.
Offer technical mentorship and leadership to junior engineers and team members.
Prepare and submit detailed engineering reports and case studies based on realworld equipment performance and failure analysis.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Education: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution. A Masters degree is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 20 years in rotating equipment engineering with a strong focus on gas turbines in refineries chemical plants or gas processing facilities.
Proficient in gas turbine performance analysis troubleshooting and repairincluding auxiliary systems (fuel systems lube oil air intake and control systems).
Demonstrated experience in componentlevel overhauls including blades vanes combustors etc.
Indepth knowledge of international standards and API codes relevant to rotating equipment.
Proven ability to author engineering reportssubmit at least five recent reports or case histories on rotating equipment with a focus on gas turbines.
Solid background in diesel engine troubleshooting and performance evaluation.
