Job Description
A dynamic and inspiring Drama Teacher is required to join an Outstanding Mixed school in Camden. The successful candidate will foster creativity confidence and a love of theatre in students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Responsibilities
- Plan prepare and deliver engaging Drama Teacher lessons covering performance script analysis and theatre history.
- Prepare students effectively for GCSE Drama examinations and practical performances.
- Cultivate a supportive and collaborative environment where students can explore their dramatic talents.
- Contribute to the organisation of extracurricular drama clubs and school productions.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Drama or Performing Arts.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Drama at the secondary level (Key Stages 3 & 4.
- Strong knowledge of dramatic literature performance techniques and theatre history.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and directorial skills capable of inspiring students in the art of Drama.
