As our HR Business Partner North America you wont just be handling the usual HR playbook. Youll be at the crossroads of culture tech and communityshaping meaningful experiences for our teams across the U.S. and Canada while driving strategic initiatives with global impact. From coaching leaders to amplifying our presence in the local business ecosystem your role will be both handson and highimpact.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment

  • Lead fullcycle hiring across North America for technical and business functions.
  • Manage job postings interviews offers background checks and onboarding.
  • Tools used: TeamTailor (mandatory) TriNet (mandatory).

Employee Relations & Development

  • Act as coach and thought partner to managers and team members.
  • Provide handson guidance on feedback growth conflict resolution and psychological safety.

Training & Coaching

  • Develop and deliver tailored training sessions for managers.
  • Create bitesized coaching modules and workshops aligned with business goals and company values.

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Administer daily operations through Lucca and TriNet.
  • Handle payroll benefits I9s and legal documentation for U.S. and Canadian employees.

Contracts & Offboarding

  • Draft and manage employment contracts amendments and exit processes.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. state laws and Canadian employment standards.

Certifications (Mandatory)

  • TriNet HR101 Modules 13
  • SHRM Art of Compensation Transparency
  • SHRM PostInauguration Impact

Graphic Design & Communications

  • Develop branded HR content for internal and external use.
  • Tools: Canva Microsoft Suite Adobe Suite (mandatory experience required).

CrossCultural Communication

  • Support teams and stakeholders in French English and Spanish (spoken and writtenmandatory).
  • Serve as a bridge across time zones and cultures.

Community Engagement & Visibility

  • Actively volunteer with a Chamber of Commerce demonstrating diplomatic instincts and a strong appetite for visibility and brand elevation in the french local community.
  • Represent Ateme within the Rocky Mountain French American Chamber of Commerce (RMFACC).
  • Colead initiatives events and outreach to expand Atemes employer presence in the Denver market.

Strategic HR Projects

  • Partner with global HR on performance management DEI and learning & development programs.
  • Scale HR practices to support growth in alignment with Atemes global strategy.

Who You Are

  • Minimum 3 years of HR experience in a fastpaced international settingideally in tech media or a growth company.
  • Graduate degree in Human Resources Organizational Development or Management.
  • A minimum of 18 months of VIE experience is required.
  • Fluent in French English and Spanish (mandatory).
  • Strong trainer and content creator with experience delivering programs for people managers.
  • Certified TriNet user with completed HR101 (Modules 13; familiar with U.S. payroll and benefits.
  • Expert Lucca user (mandatory).
  • Detailoriented with creative flairgraphic design experience required.
  • Indepth understanding of U.S. state labor laws and Canadian employment practices.
  • Prior or current volunteer experience with a Chamber of Commerce with strong engagement in networking diplomacy and brand promotion.
  • Able to work autonomously while collaborating across global teams and time zones.
  • Passionate about building an inclusive peoplefirst work culture that scales.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary range $80000 $85000.
