Job Description
- Manage monthend and yearend close processes including account reconciliations journal entries and financial statement preparation
- Ensure accuracy of accruals revenue recognition and expenditure recording across multiple subsidiaries
- Support audit processes and liaise with other finance functions
- Assist with accounts receivable and payable functions
- Contribute to system enhancement and process improvement initiatives as needed
Qualifications :
- Undergraduate Degree in Finance Accounting Economics or related field
- CPA designation with 35 years of related accounting experience and strong knowledge of ASPE and multientity consolidations
- Experience at a Canadian Public Accounting firm is preferred
- Experience in the health care sector is an asset
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft applications (i.e. Excel Word etc.
- Proficiency in using accounting software financial management tools and spreadsheets
