Job Description
A talented and enthusiastic Music Teacher is required to join an Outstanding Mixed school in Harrow. The successful candidate will cultivate a love of music and develop musical skills in students across Key Stages 3 and 4 fostering their creativity and appreciation.
Responsibilities
- Plan prepare and deliver engaging Music lessons covering performance composition and appreciation.
- Prepare students effectively for GCSE Music examinations ensuring a strong understanding of musical theory.
- Foster a creative and collaborative environment where students can explore their musical talents.
- Contribute to the organisation of extracurricular musical activities such as choirs and ensembles.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a Music specialism.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Music at the secondary level (Key Stages 3 & 4.
- Strong musical skills including performance ability and a solid understanding of music theory.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills capable of inspiring a passion for music in students.
