DT Teacher Excellent School September Start Bournemouth
DT Teacher required from September full-time position
Modern and well-resourced school in Bournemouth
Teach Design and Technology in a supportive and progressive environment
We are seeking an ambitious and innovative DT Teacher to join a thriving Design and Technology department in a well-regarded secondary school in Bournemouth. This full-time position will begin in September and involves delivering a broad DT curriculum with a focus on resistant materials product design or engineering to students at KS3 and KS4.
The successful DT Teacher will join a passionate team working in a newly refurbished suite of workshops and design studios equipped with CAD/CAM facilities 3D printers laser cutters and a wide variety of tools and materials. The department is well supported by senior leadership and is committed to providing students with a practical and engaging learning experience that fosters both creativity and technical skill.
Experience and Qualifications
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Design and Technology or related subject
Strong classroom presence with a practical and engaging teaching style
Experience teaching DT at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
Excellent subject knowledge particularly in resistant materials and/or product design
Legal right to work in the UK
