Job Description
- Develop tools for the tabulation tracking compilation and graphical display of manufacturing operations data
- Ensure a reliable and automated flow of data while developing tools for data analytics and visualization
- Tracking of upstream and downstream manufacturing production data including manufacturing inprocess sample data release data and external manufacturing data surrounding drug product manufacturing
- Develop and maintain complex data visualization dashboards and their underlying datasets backed by shared files or a database
- May need to develop new automated solutions to reduce unnecessary or repetitive work Ensures compliance with SOPs; reports any quality or other anomalies
- Participates in required training activities
- Provides general laboratory support as needed.
- Work independently and as part of a team in a client facing environment.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree or above in Engineering Computer Science or related discipline
- Masters in related field preferred
- Relevant experience preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries may be considered in lieu of educational requirements
- The ability to use currently available tools for managing moderate size spreadsheets (e.g. power query macros). Ability to use all common Microsoft software for such tasks.
- A familiarity with a data visualization application such as Tibco Spotfire or Tableau.
- A familiarity with SQL as well as a programming language such as Python Ruby or JavaScript
- GMP experience strongly preferred
- Thrive working in a fastpaced environment and can multitask
- Can perform tasks within appropriate timeframes while maintaining accuracy
- Selfmotivated adaptable and a positive attitude
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
Additional Information :
Position is fulltime firstshift Monday Friday 8:00am4:30pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Rensselaer NY and the surrounding areas are encouraged to apply.
Pay is between $2832/hr
