Global Diversity Equity Inclusion intern

The internship starts in August/September and is for a period of 6 months. Based in Utrecht and Amsterdam. 

ABOUT THE ROLE 

In this role you will contribute to our overall mission to create a better future where we authentically serve reflect and embrace everyone. You will work closely with the Global Diversity Equity & Inclusion Project Specialist in the and delivery of our global DE&I roadmap. You will collaborate with many internal stakeholders including our DE&I champions in our markets and sites and you will get to work on very diverse topics both in and outside of HR. This internship can also be tailorsuited to the area and skills in which you want to grow in. 

Responsibilities 

• Organizing global events and building communication plans around our global activations (Gender balance Month Pride Month TrueYOU Month). 
• Driving projects embedding DE&I within Learning & Development and/or People Processes & Policies in close collaboration with the global Talent Team. 
• Community building (communication engagement) for our community of Champions worldwide (more than 300 associates). 
• Capturing and fostering exchange of best practices from markets/sites.

For this role as a Global DE&I Intern were looking for someone who has the following skills and experience: 

• Studying for a Masters degree in Human Resources Psychology Business Administration or Marketing & Communication or any other field of education in connection with DE&I. 
• Passionate about DE&I and inclusive role model. 
• Highly motivated excellent communicator (written spoken and visual) fluency in English a selfstarter have great analytical capabilities an eye for details. 
• Prepared to work in a fastpaced dynamic international environment. 
• Experienced user of MS Office (Outlook Word Excel and PowerPoint). 
• Commitment: You are ready to dedicate at least 6 months to this internship preferably from 3rd February. 
• Availability: You can join the internship for 4 days per week including three days inoffice and one remotely ensuring an ideal balance between collaboration and independence. 

Important: To be considered as a candidate for this internship 

• EU/EEA students: youneed to be enrolled at a University for the whole duration of the internship and this needs to be a mandatory part of your study curriculum. In case of voluntarily internship purpose a triparties agreement may be requested to be signed by you and your university. 
• Your educational institution is willing to sign a collaboration agreement with JDE Peets and when joining our Research departments also sign an NDA agreement for internships. 
• NonEU/EEA students: you need to be enrolled at a Dutch University and your university needs to sign the Nuffic Agreement. The internship needs to be a compulsory part of your studies (eg receive ECTS in turn).

Internship Allowance 

• A monthly internship allowance of 420 (for 4 days of work).  
• Monthly Commuting allowance: 
• In principle you will be using your student public transportation card (student OVchipcard /studentenreisproduct) for daily commuting.  
• If you are not eligible for the student OVchipcard JDE offers a commuting allowance. Compensation for commuting expenses starting from a minimum distance of 5 kilometers one way up to a maximum of: 
• 35 kilometers 19ct per km (according to the temporary arrangement) when travelling by own transportation;  
• 45 kilometers (max. 294.50 based on public transport fees) per month for travel by public transportation. 
• Should you relocate to the city of your based office (Amsterdam or Utrecht) you will receive a monthly relocation compensation of up to a maximum of 175. In this case the commuting allowance will be not applicable. Please do keep in mind that we do not offer relocation and/or accommodation benefits for students coming from abroad.  
• Two weeks of remote working anywhere in Europe (EEA)
