We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Embedded Software Architect / Senior Software Engineer to join our embedded software development team in Coimbatore. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the architecture and design of complex embedded systems working on challenging projects that impact various industries.
Roles & Responsibilities :
Architecture and Design:
Define and document software architectures for embedded systems considering performance safety security and maintainability.
Create highlevel and detailed software designs.
Select appropriate technologies and frameworks.
Ensure alignment with overall system architecture and project requirements.
Development and Implementation:
Develop highquality reusable and maintainable code.
Implement and integrate software modules.
Follow coding standards and best practices.
Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to other developers.
Technical Leadership:
Guide and mentor junior software engineers.
Provide technical expertise and support to the team.
Contribute to technical discussions and decisionmaking.
Stay uptodate on industry trends and emerging technologies.
Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate effectively with other engineering teams (hardware testing etc..
Communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely.
Participate in project planning and status meetings.
Qualifications :
Educational qualification:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Electronics Engineering or a related field.
Experience :
10 years of experience in embedded software development for Automotive Consumer Electronics or MedTech.
Mandatory/requires Skills :
Strong understanding of embedded systems architectures and design principles.
Expertise in C/C programming for embedded systems.
Experience with realtime operating systems (RTOS).
Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g. CAN SPI I2C).
Experience with software design patterns and architectural principles.
Excellent problemsolving and debugging skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills :
Experience with automotive software development processes (e.g. ASPICE).
Familiarity with functional safety standards (e.g. IEC 61508.
Experience with modelbased design and development.
Knowledge of specific microcontroller architectures.
