Job Description
Principal Infrastructure CPPIB America Inc. New York NY
- Research analyze and execute on direct infrastructure investments.
- Lead the full investment process including origination opportunity assessment preparation and presentation of investment recommendations and negotiation of key deal terms.
- Collaborate with other investment departments across the Fund to deliver investments and manage the portfolio. Manage assets and develop value creation plans by analyzing board materials and collaborating with management teams regarding requests for information and initiative status.
- Communicate with external stakeholders such as banks and potential investment partners to share investment priorities and provide initiative status as appropriate.
- Telecommuting permitted up to 1 day a week.
- International travel required up to 10; Domestic travel required up to 15.
Qualifications :
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Accounting Finance or related field and 8 years of related work experience; OR Masters degree in Business Administration Accounting Finance or related field and 6 years of related work experience.
- Of the required experience must have 6 years of experience in preparation and review of detailed infrastructure company financial models.
- Must have 5 years of experience in:
- Development of value creation plans;
- Managing relationships with external stakeholders including portfolio companies coshareholders banks advisers and management teams; and
- Leading Investment Committee discussions on transactions and strategic matters impacting investments;
- Financial modeling PivotTables and advanced technical analysis using Excel
- Employer will accept any suitable combination of education training or experience.
Additional Information :
The salary range for this position is $259600.00 $350000.
US state/city legislation requires CPP investments to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The base salary range shown here is a reasonable expectation for the posted role and is part of a competitive total rewards package which includes comprehensive benefits a performancebased incentive plan a 401 (k) plan and paid time off. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience and expertise.
