Electrical Design Engineer - Power Electronics Electrification

Product Design and Development: Knowledge of product features; ability to design build and develop a new product technology or service from concept through to production.
Level Working Knowledge:
Experience with launching new technology or products into production (NTI NPI) including concept validation design validation and NPI issue resolution process

Builds complex circuits for power and signal transmission taking into account signal integrity EMC thermal management creepage and clearance requirements.
Communicates with peers and mentors to understand various requirements of product design.
Tests and evaluates alternative means of production being considered for use.
Uses automated tools to simulate design or modify the design of a product.
Assists in building and testing a complex prototype of product.

ComputerAided Design & Engineering: Knowledge of tools and techniques of specialized graphics programs; ability to produce analyze simulate and test product design drafts.
Level Extensive Experience:
Experience with Circuit Design Schematic Design CFD & FEA analysis toolssuch as Matlab PSPICE Altium Mentor Graphics Ansys and Sherlock

Consults on benefits and drawbacks of board layout design differences
