Cloud Operations Support Engineer

We are looking for a skilled CloudOps Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. If you have a passion for technology in the capital project space and a talent for solving complex issues wed love to hear from you. In this role you will provide technical support for our SaaS products to a global user base. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills and takes a proactive approach to problemsolving.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and availability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud services including networking storage and compute resources.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement and manage cloudbased solutions.
• Automate routine tasks using scripting languages such as Python Bash or PowerShell.
• Perform regular system updates patches and security configurations.
• Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and customers.
• Document processes procedures and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing.
• Participate in oncall rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical issues.
• Respond to IT support requests and provide quality resolution within established Service Level Agreement SLA
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in cloud operations or a similar role.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts including VPN DNS and load balancing.
• Experience with infrastructureascode tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Certifications such as AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Azure Administrator Associate or Google Cloud Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus Grafana or ELK stack.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins GitLab CI or CircleCI.
• Experience with construction software in the project controls or scheduling space
