Job Description:
We are currently seeking a detailoriented and experienced AR Collections Specialist to join our dynamic team at Elevate Calls Inc. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing revenue cycles and ensuring timely collections.
Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts receivable (AR) collections processes efficiently and effectively.
- Review and follow up on outstanding accounts receivable balances.
- Identify and resolve billing discrepancies and discrepancies in payment postings.
- Communicate with patients insurance companies and internal stakeholders to address payment issues and resolve outstanding balances.
- Utilize Athena Health EMR system to track and manage accounts receivable activities.
- Analyze AR aging reports and prioritize collection efforts based on delinquency levels.
- Collaborate with the billing and coding team to ensure accurate and timely submission of claims.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an AR Collections Specialist or similar role in the healthcare industry.
- Proficiency in using Athena Health EMR system is required.
- Strong understanding of medical billing and insurance claims processes.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
- Detailoriented with strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and exceed performance targets.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration Finance Business or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in healthcare AR collections.
