Are you an experienced healthcare leader ready to drive transformation in Emergency Services A leading hospital system in Austin TX is seeking a dynamic Vice President of Emergency Services to oversee the strategy performance and operational excellence of its emergency care service line. This role is central to shaping emergency care delivery and driving clinical outcomes patient satisfaction and growth.
Executivelevel leadership over all aspects of Emergency Services
Collaborate with physicians administrators and external stakeholders
Lead strategic planning quality initiatives cost management and innovation
Foster a missiondriven culture focused on clinical excellence and accountability
Eligible candidates must hold an RN license and a Masters degree
Develop and execute long and shortterm strategies for emergency services
Collaborate with executives and physicians to grow and improve the service line
Stay ahead of regulatory changes reimbursement trends and market dynamics
Oversee capital planning budgeting and performance analytics
Champion evidencebased practices and quality metrics
Establish and monitor standards of care and patient safety goals
Reduce clinical variation and enhance throughput strategies (admission/discharge)
Lead performance improvement initiatives that drive measurable results
Build highperforming clinical teams and foster leadership at all levels
Implement employee engagement strategies and recognize performance
Coach and mentor department heads and team leads
Monitor and optimize operating expenses staffing efficiency and labor utilization
Ensure effective use of equipment and clinical resources
Identify costreduction opportunities and drive responsible budgeting
Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) Required
Masters Degree Required (Healthcare Administration Nursing or related field)
Registered Nurse (RN) license Required (TX or compact state)
5 years of senior leadership in emergency or acute care services
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Required
Strong understanding of compliance quality metrics and healthcare innovation
