The Westerner in West Valley City UT is calling all customer service rockstars to apply to join our amazing bar and restaurant team as a parttime Front Door Host Hostess!

We pay our parttime Front Door Hosts Hostess a competitive wage of $16 per hour plus the opportunity to earn tips that range from $30 $50 per night. ABOUT THE WESTERNER
We first opened our doors in 1962 as Salt Lake Citys original country dance hall bar and grill! Over the years our stage has been home to wellknown artists from Brad Paisley and George Jones to Rascal Flatts and The Dixie Chicks. Whether our clients are looking for good music good food or a good time they can always find it with us! Our multifunctional design creates fun nights filled with live music free mechanical bull rides pool tables line dance lessons couple dance lessons a karaoke room and more! We provide a fun and safe environment for both our customers and our employees!

YOUR LIFE AS A FRONT DOOR HOST HOSTESS
This parttime frontofhouse position typically works at our bar and restaurant every Friday and Saturday from 5:30 pm 2:30 am.
As a Front Door Host Hostess you are an important team member for us. You are the first person customers see when they enter our doors but you are also the last person to bid them farewell when they are leaving. With your upbeat and friendly attitude you facilitate a great environment and set the tone for each guests experience. With great attention to detail you check IDs upon arrival to the bar and accurately and efficiently handle all cash and credit card transactions. You feel good about fulfilling your customer service responsibilities and creating a fun environment to keep our customers coming back!
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
- At least 21 years of age
- Ability to attain a Utah alcohol server permit within 14 days of hire
- Ability to attain a Salt Lake County Health Department food handlers permit within 14 days of hire
