We are seeking a polished and experienced Director of Dining Experience to lead both frontofhouse and backofhouse dining operations at a luxury senior living community in Plano TX. This location offers an elevated senior living experience focused on exceptional hospitality beautifully crafted meals and personalized resident care.

Your Role and Impact

As Director of Dining Experience you will oversee the entire dining operation with a strong emphasis on frontofhouse service excellence. You will ensure the dining room operates like a fivestar hospitality venue while collaborating closely with the culinary team to maintain smooth efficient backofhouse coordination. You will lead mentor and inspire the service team manage relationships with residents clients and leadership and oversee financial and operational performance all while creating an inviting and polished dining experience for all.

What You Will Do

  • Lead frontofhouse service operations setting and maintaining fivestar hospitality standards.
  • Build strong relationships with residents and address their feedback with empathy professionalism and followthrough.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team on weekly menu development and updates ensuring alignment with resident preferences and nutritional needs.
  • Oversee both dining room and kitchen organization staffing scheduling and operational flow.
  • Develop and mentor staff cultivating a positive team culture centered around excellence and service.
  • Manage budgets labor and inventory with a strong financial and strategic approach.
  • Utilize IT systems to handle reporting scheduling and administrative tasks with precision.
  • Communicate confidently and professionally with residents the executive team and client partners.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across both front and back of house.
  • Uphold and continuously improve clear detailed and standardized service processes.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

What You Will Need

  • Proven leadership experience as a Food and Beverage Director Culinary Director or Hospitality Director preferably in luxury senior living fine dining country clubs or highend hospitality.
  • Strong knowledge of both frontofhouse service standards and backofhouse operations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage residents and lead diverse teams.
  • Processoriented with high attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated financial acumen including budget management and labor oversight.
  • Proficient with IT systems including POS inventory scheduling and reporting platforms.
  • Flexibility to work weekends holidays and special events as needed.
  • A genuine passion for creating elegant meaningful dining experiences.
  • Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) credential required or ability to obtain certification within 12 months of hire.

Physical and Sensory Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Frequent bending reaching and lifting up to 25 lbs.
Capacity to lead and assist in a fastpaced dynamic dining environment.
Strong verbal communication and visual attention to detail for guest service and food quality assurance.
