Job Title

Were looking for a Sr. Java Developer advisor to join our software development organization. You will help modernize the design and development of Fiservs Treasure flagship. Seeking a Sr. developer and team player to implement requirements to code collaboration with product for system integrations and feasibility studies while solving the most complex software topics. You will create high performance applications using Spring Boot and leverage modern streaming and cloud architectures in a fastpaced resultoriented environment. This role requires advanced technical skillset in depth and an ability to effectively communicate across both application development and product teams. The ideal candidate possesses a good blend of business and technical aptitude is heavily hands on and has a strong need to learn new things as well as research customer insights trends and business challenges.

As an Sr. Application Developer & advisor you can look forward to:

• Work closely with the solution architects and lead the solution be the decision maker
• Partnering with product owners to understand the business requirements and provide technical insights for the solution.
• Lead a group of developers ensure the code quality on the way to production
• Developing high quality and highperformance Spring Boot micro services and bring them to the Kubernetes Cloud architecture
• Preparing and reviewing technical designs code reviews and delivery of highquality architecture.
• Work closely with the test automation team
• Partnering with scrum teams to promote DevOps as a culture driving improvements through CI/CD processes.
• Configuring and documenting the software hardware and service solutions to meet customer and sales objectives.
• Mentoring developers during projects to ensure continuous improvement.
• Integrating the code into a fully automated CI/CD pipeline with the goal to push directly to production.
• Display strong verbal and written communication with ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization.

Basic qualifications for consideration:

• Bachelors Degree with 10 years of software development experience.
• 10 years of handson experience in Java Development
• Spring frameworks (Spring Boot Spring Batch Spring Security etc.
• Exposure to administering & consuming cloud platforms. Preferrable Azure
• Experience of Restful APIs API gateways preferable Apigee.

• Experience in software architecture design development networking virtualized platforms (cloud) and distributed systems (SOA & Microservices).

Preferred Qualifications for consideration:

• Building distributed service oriented microservicesstyle and cloudbased application architectures.
• Automation testing mock frameworks virtual services and performance testing
• Containerization with applications deployed on Docker or Kubernetes.
• Related banking industry experience in platforms banking applications or online financial solutions.
• Experience developing in high performance applications using multithreading and pooling.
• Advanced knowledge of Continuous Integrations and delivery concepts experience with GitHub Enterprise or similar
