Job Description

Job Summary:

U.S. Sedan is seeking an experienced and detailoriented Lead Dispatcher to join our team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring smooth timely and efficient operations. The Lead Dispatcher will be responsible for overseeing daily dispatch activities managing chauffeur assignments monitoring workflows and coordinating with team members to maintain topquality service for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Become thoroughly familiar with daily dispatch workflows and processes.
  • Confirm that all chauffeurs have acknowledged their assigned jobs ensuring readiness and accountability.
  • Oversee the vehicle cleaning schedule confirming that all assigned vehicles are maintained to the highest standards.
  • Regularly log in to affiliate portals company email and calendar to stay updated on assignments and changes.
  • Confirm that all farmout assignments have designated drivers and are on schedule.
  • Monitor the dispatch board at least three hours in advance to anticipate and address potential issues or delays.
  • Coordinate closely with the Assistant Dispatcher and other team members communicating any requirements or operational adjustments.
  • Handle sameday requests such as providing chauffeur information and client details as needed.
  • Prepare comprehensive passdown notes for the next shift to ensure a seamless transition and continuity of service.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a dispatcher or logistics coordination role preferably in the transportation or chauffeur industry.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to work collaboratively with chauffeurs and dispatch team members.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in dispatch software and Microsoft Office; familiarity with affiliate portals is a plus.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to anticipate and resolve issues proactively to maintain client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
