Job Description
Excelsior Defense is looking for a part time armed security officer to protect our clients premises assets and personnel. You will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions and maintain access control into the property. Doing rounds scanning in different points throughout the property in the housing contract.
The officer needs to be prompt with patrolling the community to make sure everything is safe.
This position is the Orlando Area
Part Time: 9 pm to 5am
Qualifications:
- Protect companys property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
- Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
- Act lawfully in direct defense or life or property
- Apprehend criminals and evict violators
- Report in detain any suspicious incidents
- Report writing
Skills Required
- Proven work experience as an Armed Security Officer or relevant position
- Valid D and G License (Must have both license as an armed officer) They need to be active
- Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
- Must have own weapon
- Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
- Surveillance skills and detail orientation
- Integrity and professionalism
- Detailed report writing
- Be fluent in speaking and writing English
Base Rate: 18.11 hourly
