Job Description
Global Dimensions is a HUBZone service disabled veteranowned small business based in Fredericksburg VA. We are a dynamic expanding company with exciting opportunities in language/culture training/education/instruction IT cyber security and intelligence (analysts CI HUMINT SIGINT etc.. Global Dimensions is currently seeking Midlevel GEOINT Conveyance Specialists for upcoming opportunities in Springfield VA.
Midlevel GEOINT Conveyance Specialist will:
- Collaborate with NGOC and other analysts to clearly and accurately convey the intelligence story to NGAs external customers via highquality timesensitive GEOINT
- Provide prepublication quality reviews in accordance with NGA policy and standards for intelligence products; identify gaps in NGA product quality; and assist or lead outreach sessions to educate authors to help address those gaps
- Review and format various geospatial intelligence reports products and briefing materials including both text and visual content according to established Agency publication policies and formats. These policies and formats include the Style Guide for GEOINT Products the NGA
- Visualization Toolkit ATC Templates and ODNI tradecraft standards
- Provide clear professional and accurate feedback to geospatial intelligence analysts on the layout and presentation of their products regarding format grammar logic word usage spelling and punctuation as well as design style and organization to promote clarity and consistency
- Review all visual elements such as maps tables charts timelines and illustrations used to convey NGA intelligence for adherence to IC Agency and ATC standards
- Understand layout principles layout elements and text layout to create standard products as needed
- Use knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Power Point) Adobe Acrobat and other tools or databases to review graphics and text in support of NGA products
- Master NGA production software and tools (ICPS SharePoint)
- When directed by ATC leadership verify classifications provided by analysts identify sourcing issues and direct analysts to classification guidance and resources
- Clearly and concisely communicate work status methods instructions problems requirements options and concerns with team members managers and Government customers within NGA and the IC
- Establish effective crossfunctional team relationships and cultivating a positive customer service environment
- Work on multiple projects with simultaneous deadlines under fastpaced conditions; prioritize and rapidly adapt to changing organizational requirements
- Attend regularly scheduled production support meetings; stay current with ongoing production support initiatives; and participate in meetings with Government customers team members Contractors etc. to exchange information and/or provide updates
- Communicate with internal staff and external partners using multiple channels (Cisco Jabber newsletters email etc.
- Archive materials or products following established guidelines and procedures
Requirements
- TS/SCI security clearance
- At least two years of relevant graphic layout and/or copyediting experience
- Demonstrable proficiency in English language mechanics and vocabulary
- Strong writing skills
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer skills and demonstrated proficiency on PC platforms
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated aptitude in working with current industrystandard electronic publishing computer systems applications and databases
- Familiarity with the US Intelligence Community and GEOINT
Desired
- At least two years of experience reviewing copyediting and producing documents in accordance with style classification or sourcing standards or in a related area that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the duties associated with this work along with an undergraduate or graduate degree in English communications journalism graphic arts computer graphics a related field (history philosophy liberal arts or professional writing) or a degree where writing or graphic arts is core to the degree OR at least four years of graphic design or professional editing experience without the abovespecified degrees.
- Mastery of NGAproprietary and commercial production management and dissemination software tools such as CPD ICPS Microsoft Office Suite applications SharePoint etc.
