Theatre Nurse / ODP Anaesthetics & Recovery (RGN / ODP)
Exeter Hospital Nursing Permanent contract Full time
Up to 38750 per annum depending on experience
37.5 hours per week

Asa Theatre Practitioner / ODP in Anaesthetic & Recovery at our hospital youll be alert focused detailoriented and registered with the appropriate governing body and you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration including NMC or HCPC. With postregistration experience youre a team player with a passion for exceptional patient care.
As a Theatre Practitioner / ODP in Anaesthetic & Recoveryyou will:
Work with leading consultants and likeminded professionals
Enjoy a varied caseload with stateoftheart technology equipment and facilities
Supervise support and develop junior members of staff
Create highquality care and patient experiences that are clinically effective and evidence based
Interact well with colleagues on the ward understanding that continuity in patient care is key
Deliver highquality care to patients in the anaesthetic and recovery phases of surgery
Collaborate with anaesthetists and surgical teams to prepare and monitor patients pre during and postsurgery
Have ample opportunities for continuous growth and personal development

Nuffield Health Exeter Hospital.
The Exeter Nuffield hospital is based next to the RD&E hospital in Wonford Exeter. The hospital has 2 theatres as well as a hybrid cardiac catheter laboratory/theatre and an Endoscopy suite. There are two ward areas: an inpatient area with 21 beds and a daycase ward with 12 beds. We also have a busy outpatient department pharmacy physiotherapy and radiology department including an MRI scanner. We specialise in elective orthopaedic and spinal surgery cardiology including invasive procedures general surgery plastics and cosmetic surgery ENT and gynaecology. The Hospital has a MAKO robot that undertakes some of the joint replacement surgery which we have become well known for in this field of surgery.
