About you
Full training will be given if needed when it comes to cataloguing on Epexio. The collection is already boxlisted with a basic level of description on our online catalogue which is why we feel that the project should only take one year to complete. We are looking for someone with excellent attention to detail to revise the archival arrangement and populate descriptions to file level at a minimum.
Due to the emphasis on engagement the ideal candidate would have some experience of working in a publicfacing role. This does not necessarily need to be in the archives sector.
You will also be prepared to engage with our therapeutic community ethos by taking part in reflective groups both for supervision and as part of our reflective ethos on a regular basis meaning that you will be supported and expected to share your experiences and thoughts about the work you are doing and the impact it is having on you good or bad in both individual and group settings. This is standard practice across the charity and is designed to ensure best practice and to support you with your work.
