Africa Sales Director Mining & Construction Equipment
Location: South Africa (Preference for Johannesburg)
Type: FullTime Remote/Hybrid
Availability: ASAP
Employment Type: Permanent

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Africa Sales Director to lead the development and of a regional mining market strategy. This role requires a dynamic leader with a proven ability to manage teams drive market expansion and build strong relationships with large strategic customers and distributors across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the regional business development plan for the mining sector

  • Set up and lead the regional mining sales team to achieve revenue market share and business goals

  • Build and maintain a strong key account and distributor network

  • Collaborate with other departments and business units to drive business synergy

  • Ensure compliance with the companys code of business conduct internal policies and local laws


Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of sales/business management experience in the mining construction machinery or physical manufacturing industry

  • Experience with both direct and channel sales especially to large strategic clients

  • Prior leadership experience at a top 10 global company in the industry (preferred)

  • Proficient in English and ideally a second language

  • Strong leadership communication and programme implementation skills

  • High levels of ambition and stress tolerance

  • Ability to align with and promote the companys culture and values
