Intelligent Automation Analyst

Job Summary

We are looking for an Intelligent Automation Analyst to work with our Emerson Flow Controls Team. You will be working on various automation projects and tools like Python APIs Power BI Power Automate Power Apps SQL Robocorp VBA and other Intelligent Automation Tools for business automation needs using development and runtime environments

In This Role Your Responsibilities Will:

• Apply various tools such as Python APIs Power BI Power Automate Power Apps Office 365 tools Excel macros Access SQL & VBA and create new business applications for business automation needs using development and runtime environments approved by IT.
• Understand Automation requirements from business users and create applications/automations.
• Work with IT experts to learn how to capture and extract the data from various systems and sources.
• Mine data from SQL data warehouses and other data sources.
• Prepare metrics for reporting.
• Keep a track of latest technology trends in the market and evaluate their applicability for enhancing user experience.
• Track change and enhancement requests and software updates and perform and report impact analysis on the current application development reports training documentation processes etc.
• Plan and coordinate testing of changes and upgrades.
• Monitor track triage and manage support requests.
• Provide user support by diagnosing and resolving issues and answering usagerelated questions. Bring up problems to the software vendor as needed and track through resolution.
• Periodically monitor the applications for data integrity. Notify users to make needed updates.
• Maintain configuration documentation and/or software.
• Monitor software license usage.
• Develop and maintain reports using business intelligence tools such as Power BI SQL.
• Develop work plans and track/report status of assigned projects and tasks.
• Provide oral and written reports to managers and collaborators.
• Maintain knowledge of relevant technologies and applications.
• Maintain record of work done.

For This Role You Will Need:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science (BSc) & in Computer Application (BCA) or similar.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant knowledge & experience
• Proficient in Python Microsoft Power Platform tools and SQL.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 tools such as Excel Power BI SharePoint etc.
• Good English written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to effectively work with technical and nontechnical staff at all organizational levels.
• Strong customer service and problemsolving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to be the domain expert in supporting maintaining and administering software applications.
• Ability to learn new content areas and skills quickly and thoroughly.
• Professional attitude and work habits.
• Problem solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to understand software and tools and how they are used to support business processes.
• Ability to introduce analyze and complete ideas processes and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Expertise in Python API C# preferred
• Knowledge on AI & ML models
• Expertise in Data Mining and Business Intelligence
• Understands business function related to the application.
• Experience in understanding of Business Processes and Project Management.
