Trade Compliance Apprentice
As a Trade Compliance apprentice you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our company complies with all relevant laws regulations and policies related to international trade. You will work closely with our Trade Compliance team to support the implementation and maintenance of effective trade compliance programs.
Sub Topics:
1. Job Responsibilities:
As a Trade Compliance apprentice your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the development and implementation of trade compliance policies and procedures
- Conducting research on trade regulations and staying uptodate with changes in international trade laws
- Supporting the preparation and submission of import and export documentation
- Assisting in the classification of products and determining their eligibility for import or export
- Conducting internal audits to ensure compliance with trade regulations
- Assisting in the coordination of trade compliance training programs for employees
- Providing support in responding to inquiries from customs authorities or other government agencies
- Assisting in the monitoring of trade compliance activities and identifying areas for improvement
2. Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- A strong interest in international trade and compliance
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of trade compliance regulations and procedures is a plus
3. Education and Training:
To become a Trade Compliance apprentice you should have relevant GCSEs/A levels in mathematics and English along with an interest in international trade business or a related field. Onthejob training will be provided to familiarize you with trade compliance regulations and procedures.
