Job Title: Building Engineer (ARE)
Job Summary: EMCOR Services CES has an immediate need for a Building Engineerin Rockville Maryland. The Building Engineer will perform general mechanical installation troubleshooting and repair related to building mechanical electrical and plumbing equipment such as air handlers pumps motors cooling towers split systems chillers EDS and other related equipment. This role is covered by the CBA for Local 99.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform general mechanical installation troubleshooting and repair related to building mechanical electrical and plumbing equipment such as air handlers pumps motors cooling towers split systems chillers EDS gensets and other relatedequipment.
- Be familiar with current safety requirements and technologies or products as pertains to mechanical and electrical work.
- Perform preventative maintenance work to include replacing and aligning bearings replacing motors compressors controls and replacing filters or belts. Repair or install insulation on pipe and machinery.
- Conduct/record daily building tours coordinate subcontractors manage EMS / BAS systems and maintain / update local operating procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must have experience with Boilers
- Must have Maryland 3rdEngineer license.
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to work overtime including evenings nights holidays and weekends as needed.
Physical Demands:
- Be able to work in areas that are not temperature controlled and not well lit.
- Be able to work at heights to include on man lifts or elevated platforms.
- Be able to climb ladders and steps.

Compensation Range: $39.41/ hr.
