Your Role as a Chemistry Teacher

As a Chemistry Teacher you will:

• Teach Chemistry across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 with the potential to teach KS5 if you have the experience or interest in ALevel chemistry.

• Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that inspire and motivate students.

• Lead practical experiments and help students apply their theoretical knowledge in realworld contexts.

• Collaborate with your colleagues to ensure the chemistry curriculum is dynamic inclusive and meets the needs of all students.

• Contribute to extracurricular activities such as science clubs competitions and educational trips.

• For experienced teachers there may be opportunities for mentoring and leadership roles within the department.
