Job Description
A dedicated and ambitious Science Teacher with the capacity to take on a Teaching and Learning Responsibility (TLR) is required to join a thriving allthrough academy in Wembley London. This is a permanent fulltime position commencing in September. The successful candidate will inspire students aged 3 to 18 with a passion for science and contribute to the academys commitment to high achievement for all. The TLR will be discussed based on the candidates experience and the academys needs.
Responsibilities
- Plan prepare and deliver engaging Science lessons across the full age range (Key Stages 1 to 5.
- Assess and monitor student progress in Science providing effective feedback and support.
- Contribute to the development of the Science curriculum and resources across the academy.
- Undertake specific TLR responsibilities contributing to the wider development of teaching and learning.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Science at the secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge across a range of scientific disciplines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
