Art Teacher Outstanding School Surrey
An Outstanding Ofstedrated secondary school in Surrey is seeking a talented and passionate Art Teacher to join their vibrant and successful Art and Design department. This is a fulltime permanent position teaching across Key Stages 3 4 and potentially Key Stage 5. The school provides a stimulating environment where creativity flourishes.
Responsibilities:
The successful Art Teacher will plan and deliver inspiring and engaging lessons across a range of artistic disciplines (e.g. drawing painting sculpture printmaking digital media). You will foster creativity critical thinking and technical skills in students of all abilities creating a supportive studio environment where students feel empowered to express themselves. Assessing student progress providing constructive feedback and contributing to the Art curriculum and exhibitions are key aspects of this Art Teacher role.
Requirements:
Applicants must be a qualified Art Teacher (QTS) with a degree in Fine Art Design or a related field. Proven experience teaching Art at the secondary level is required. A strong portfolio demonstrating artistic skill along with excellent communication and classroom management abilities is essential. We are looking for a truly creative Art Teacher.
